Alouette™ LightLouvers combine the best feature of shutters, shades, and blinds. They have the appearance of shutters, the softness of shades, and the function of blinds. The product is made of soft translucent fabric louvers that tilt open for precise light control and tilt close for discreet privacy. The fabric is the same time tested and durable fabric as Duette honeycomb shades.

Two fabric styles are available in the product line – Clair and Clair de Lune. Clair, a French word meaning light, is the translucent fabric that diffuses and filters sunlight creating a soft glow when the louvers are closed. Clair de Lune, a French word meaning light of the moon, is the room-darkening fabric that reduces light transmission when the louvers are closed. Both fabric styles provide a crystal clear view to the outside when the 2-¾” louvers are fully open. Each fabric style is available in three print patterns: Suave, a solid print in 15 colors: Linen, a linen weave print in five colors: Plume, a sponge print in five colors: for a total of 50 color and pattern choices.

The Alouette™ LightLouvers with the Pivotal Operating System™ is available in three innovative operating systems. The headrail is integrated with the fabric louvers and has the same pivoting movement and appearance. All three operating systems allow the louvers to tilt fully open or closed for precise light control. The system is offered in three distinct design choices – BTS – bar tilt and tab lift system; BCS – bar tilt and lift cord.system; CCS – cord tilt and cord lift system.
