Maria has worked in interior design for over 15 years, having learned her craft at major home redecorating centers, before leaving to start her own company, and, eventually, form Mar-Go Interiors, Inc. Maria, was recognized for her efforts with Mar-Go Interiors, by being presented with the Business Journal's Women in Business Distinguished Award in 2001.
